A Woman’s Worth

Nowadays, a lot of women base their value on what the media tells them to be. ” You need to be slim to be noticed. ” But this doesn’t actually end up to be a very easy task. We keep on chasing what is trending, what is most wanted by men–until we finally realize that at the end of the day, this isn’t what really matters.

It was such a privilege to attend the We Talk last August 15th.  This made me realize how precious I am to God’s eyes.

Here are some of the truths:

  1. We are a masterpiece

According to Ephesians 2:10

For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.

Wow, such an encouragement to know how we had been made by God in detail. He knows everything, even the numbers our hairs.

We should be confident of how we look like.

2. We are chosen

We are born by choice and not by change. This message strikes me to much that I came to realize how awesome God is. I wasn’t an accident. I was planned by God to be born and to follow His will.  As it’s written on Psalm 139:13-14

For you created my inmost being;
    you knit me together in my mother’s womb.
14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
    your works are wonderful,
    I know that full well.

Ladies out there, let’s find value in becoming a child of God.  Our gender is God’s choice for us.

3. We are uniquely created

God didn’t make us from dirt. Let us build ourselves up. Let’s treat our selves with respect. This could be found on Genesis 1:27

So God created mankind in his own image,
    in the image of God he created them;
    male and female he created them.

4. You have Influence

This is to become a better version of who you are. Hide the word of God in your heart so you won’t sin. God washed away our sin. God isn’t finished with our stories. God has a good future in store for you.

So in times that you feel like you ain’t valuable, think again and realize how blessed you are to be a woman.
